The Role

We’re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented HRIS & Compliance Specialist to help us bring clarity and consistency to our HR systems and processes. This role is responsible for maintaining the integrity of employee data across Paylocity, Deltek, and other key platforms, while also owning compliance-related processes and reporting.
You’ll play a central role in integrating newly acquired companies into our systems, ensuring smooth transitions, clean data intake, and consistent recordkeeping. You’ll also lead the development of SOPs and reporting tools that serve HR and the broader organization.

Own the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of employee data across systems including Paylocity and Deltek
Lead efforts to clean and organize foundational HR data to support scalability
Create and implement clear, standardized SOPs for entering, updating, and maintaining employee records
Manage user roles and access across platforms, ensuring proper permissions and data security
M&A Integration
Serve as the HR systems point person for integrating acquired companies into our platforms
Intake, audit, and align acquired employee data with existing records and structure
Partner with HR, IT, and business teams to ensure timely, consistent onboarding of acquired entities
Compliance Ownership
Maintain ongoing compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws, including I-9s, EEO reporting, wage notices, and record retention
Own the HR compliance calendar—ensuring audits, documentation, and deadlines are proactively managed
Support audit readiness and reporting tied to government contracts and other regulatory requirements
Reporting & Data Access
Build and maintain standard HR reports and dashboards
Respond to ad-hoc data requests with a high degree of accuracy and speed
Partner with HR and cross-functional teams to provide the data they need to drive decisions
Minimum Qualifications
3 years of experience in HRIS, HR operations, or a related HR systems/compliance role
Hands-on experience with Paylocity (required)
Working knowledge of HR compliance requirements, including I-9s, EEO reporting, FLSA, and document retention
Demonstrated experience auditing and maintaining employee data across multiple systems
Strong experience developing and maintaining SOPs and process documentation
Proven ability to manage and deliver on projects with multiple stakeholders and timelines
3+ years experience in Excel and comfort working with data and reports
Authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, or a related field; equivalent experience will be considered
Experience with Deltek or a similar ERP system
Experience supporting HR system integrations during M&A activity
Familiarity with multi-state or federal contractor compliance requirements
HR or project management certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP, PMP)
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to handle sensitive information with discretion
Strong written and verbal communication skills
