Bachelor’s degree. One year of experience in Human Resources, Payroll, or experience as a Business Analyst is required. Additional experience may substitute for the required education on a year-for-year basis.
Recruitment Notes
This is a professional personnel management position overseeing Human Resources Information Systems and cloud-based work operating systems (Work OS) within the Department of Transportation and Public Works. Emphasis of the work is on coordinating, administering, and reconciling the department’s position management and personnel actions component within the County’s Human Resources Information Systems. Ability to prepare clear, concise and tailored analytical reports that address specific analytical needs. Update and maintain the departmental table of organization within personnel management systems and provides technical and analytical support required to ensure departmental personnel actions are recorded and maintained accurately. Ability to utilize numerous software systems to map tasks, team collaboration, task management, operations and workflows including customizable boards, automations, dashboards, time tracking, and templates within the division. Expert in Excel, technical and analytical skills highly desired. This position reports to the Chief, Human Resources Division.
