The Human Resource Division (HRD) provides human resource services to supervisors, managers, and employees.

Duties

This position supports the mission by serving as a senior level human resource consultant to agency staff, supervisors, and managers in classification, compensation, recruitment and selection

This position works independently, under general direction, to provide administrative direction and counsel to customers regarding a broad range of human resource management issues, which require the application of professional judgement in the analysis of complex human resource and operational relationships. The primary customers of this position include, but are not limited to: the Lateral Trooper program, Office of the Chief, and Field Operations Bureau HQ, District 2, and District 5 applicants and/or employees.

Our new teammate will be able to:

Provide senior-level consultation, guidance, interpretation and support to assigned customers regarding human resource rules, regulations, policies and procedures in areas such as classification, compensation, performance management, layoff and organizational development.
Provide senior-level consultation, guidance, and support to assigned customers regarding human resource rules, regulations, policies and procedures in recruitment and hiring.
Compile data for various reports and information requests.
Provide training to managers, supervisors, and employees as needed.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

High School graduation or equivalent
Three (3) years of broad-based professional human resource experience in the areas of classification, compensation, recruitment and selection, training, organizational development and/or labor relations.
Related education can supplement experience year for year for up to two years of experience.

Supplemental Information

NOTE: This is not a full-time telework position. Candidates must be able and willing to work in the office and commute to here. A hybrid work schedule may be available after training and/or probationary period has been successfully completed. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $66,012.00 – $88,800.00 per year
