Description:
Our Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. This position will work closely with the Human Resources Director to ensure the smooth functioning of HR processes and initiatives.
Ideally candidate is local to Patrick Space Force Base and Cape Canaveral Space Force Base.
Description: As part of our team, we’ll count on you to:
Assist with the recruitment and selection process, including screening resumes and prescreening candidates, and coordinating interviews.
Coordinate and facilitate employee onboarding, including providing new hires with orientation materials and company policies.
Coordinate employee training and development programs.
Develop and distribute employee newsletters and media.
Support community/employee engagement.
Assist with employee relations matters, including handling employee grievances and disciplinary issues.
Interpret current laws and regulations, legislation updates, new legislation and make recommendations to leadership to update compliance requirements in current policies, procedures, processes, and collective bargaining agreement provisions.
Maintain working knowledge of the current CBAs (Collective Bargaining Agreements) and all applicable HR policies and procedures and advise managers/chairs and employees on relevant policies and procedures.
Requirements:
Experience working with CBAs.
Knowledge of MS Office and accounting software (Unanet & Paylocity preferred)
Excellent communication, administrative, customer service, organization, and time-management skills
Knowledge of applicable laws and regulations related to Human Resources.
Ability to handle highly confidential information in a professional manner.
Demonstrates an elevated level of judgment and discretion.
Self-starter, with a “let’s get things done” attitude.
Must possess a high sense of urgency, initiative, and common sense.
