Under the supervision of the Senior Director of Human Resources and Human Resources Manager, this position functions as a Human Resource Generalist for the Human Resources Department. The Generalist works in the areas of benefits administration, employee orientation, compensation, policies and procedures, job description preparation, the hiring process, office organization and employee record keeping.
Responsibilities:
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

B. PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS:
Light indoor work. Reaching, bending and handling are necessary to operate various office equipment and perform general office duties.
C. OTHER:
Self-motivated, dependable, neatly groomed, personable and well organized.
Qualifications:
A. EDUCATION:
High school Diploma or equivalent with an emphasis on office skills. College degree preferred.
B. EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 24 months experience working in Human Resources and college course work.
C. REQUIRED SKILLS:
Understanding of basic functions of a computer network and software including
“Word”, “Excel” and “Medi-tech”
Excellent telephone etiquette skills
Fax/Copy Machine
Type a minimum speed of 50 wpm accurately.
Excellent knowledge of English, punctuation, spelling, grammar, and proofreading skills
Familiarity with Employment law and Human Resource policies.
