The HR Generalist – Talent Programs plays a key role in developing and implementing people-focused initiatives that enhance employee performance, growth, and engagement across our manufacturing organization. This position is responsible for supporting the full lifecycle of talent programs—from design to execution—including performance management, learning and development, and employee engagement. In addition to leading strategic people initiatives, the HR Generalist provides day-to-day HR support, including employee relations, onboarding, policy guidance, recruiting and immigration coordination. This hands-on role is essential in shaping a consistent, positive employee experience and supporting both hourly and salaried team members in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

HR Generalist Support:

Provide day-to-day HR leadership and support and policy guidance to employees and managers, including onboarding, coaching, and employee relations.

Support HR documentation, data accuracy, and compliance through effective use of HRIS and internal systems.

Assist with investigations, corrective actions, and policy enforcement in coordination with HR leadership.

Coordinate and support immigration processes, including visa applications, renewals, and documentation in partnership with external legal counsel and internal stakeholders.

Serve as a cultural ambassador and trusted partner to operations leadership across multiple departments to support development of a high-performance culture.

Support recruitment activities including job postings, screening, interview coordination, and candidate communication to ensure a smooth and timely hiring process.

Talent Program Development & Implementation:

Partner with the VP of HR to design, develop, and implement scalable talent programs such as performance management, learning and development, succession planning, and employee engagement.

Align programs with business needs in a manufacturing environment, ensuring practicality and accessibility for production and front-line teams.

Develop communication plans, training materials, and toolkits to drive successful adoption of new programs.

Track and report on program outcomes using qualitative and quantitative feedback to ensure continuous improvement.

Employee Engagement & Culture:

Help lead employee engagement initiatives including surveys, recognition programs, and communication strategies.

Promote and support culture-building efforts that align with company values and improve morale and retention.

Assist in implementing continuous feedback loops to support workforce development and operational efficiency.

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, skills, and abilities required)

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related

3–5 years of progressive HR experience with a strong emphasis on talent development or program management.

Experience supporting hourly and multi-location

Familiarity with performance management tools, engagement platforms, or L&D systems.

HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.

Demonstrated ability to design, implement, and manage HR programs across a diverse workforce.

Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred.

Familiarity with immigration processes (e.g., work visas, sponsorships) and coordination with legal counsel.

Strong interpersonal, facilitation, and communication skills.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with hands-on responsibilities and cross-functional collaboration.
