Summary
As a strategic and hands-on Human Resources Director, you won’t just direct; you’ll be a true HR utility player, diving into every facet of HR. You’ll manage a team of 2-3 professionals, ensuring excellence in Operating Model, Employee Relations, Benefits, Tech and Automation, Branding, Associate lifecycle, Leader Development, Talent Acquisition, HR Compliance, HR Systems, Employee Engagement, Compensation, Talent Management, Performance Management, and key HR Projects. This role is a fast paced dynamic environment where no two days look the same. This role will have the responsibility of building infrastructure while driving the right change while supporting the HR transformation which is still underway.
Duties and Responsibilities
The incoming HR Director will play a crucial role in establishing strategic capability within HR that introduces new processes, developing infrastructure, workflows and technology to support the organization.
Develop and implement shared services strategies, policies and procedures that align with the overall business objectives.
This is a high-impact role ideal for someone thrives on by building systems, policies, practices, operations and programs. Your main responsibility will be to ensure the HR function runs smoothly by supporting the HR team in developing strong internal operations

This role involves implementing actions to enhance systems, practices, and programs while helping HR develop strategic capabilities such as Organizational Effectiveness and Change Management disciplines
In collaboration with the CHRO, design the annual HR strategy and ensure key deliverables are met, focusing on building a strong service delivery and optimizing key HR foundational operations
The HR Director will assess, diagnose, and recommend tools and resources that align with business issues or problems. Develop HR KPI disciplines and generate data-driven insights to influence strategic decisions
Drive and influence people strategy initiatives to enhance organizational maturity in Ways of Working
Evaluate and develop agile, iterative strategies for implementing strategic project work, opportunities, and recommendations
Serve as a leader for key deliverables, co-creating frameworks and toolkits around HR capability areas
Act as the primary point of contact for strategic partnerships, assembling cross-functional teams with HR and business units to achieve objectives; influence and orchestrate resources to achieve desired results
The HR Director will design the implementation of talent management and workforce planning strategies in partnership with the CHRO.
Serve as a strategic thought partner and contribute to strategic decisions that will shape the future of HR
Mentor and guide HR Managers on key initiatives, providing feedback and developmental support
Demonstrate proven experience working with ambiguity and driving organizational change and transformation while fostering collaboration, transparency, and communication
Drive process improvements and automation initiatives to increase operational efficiency

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree is Required with a concentration in Human Resource, Business, or related field
Master’s Degree in Human Resources or Business is strongly preferred
Relevant and current HR Certifications (SHRM-SCP, SHRM-CP, SPHR, and or PHR Certification) is preferred
Demonstrated expertise in building and executing HR plans for rapid growth in turnaround environment
A minimum of 15 years of progressive HR experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to shared services operations
Minimum of 5 years of experience in shared services operations
Physical & Workplace Requirements:
Light duty work environment – primarily office-based with minimal physical exertion.
Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
Occasional standing or walking for presentations or facilitation.
Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs occasionally (e.g., training materials, equipment).
