Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Human Resources Coordinator role based in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The Human Resources Coordinator will support daily HR operations, including maintaining employee records, preparing HR documentation, and assisting with recruitment, onboarding, and orientation processes. The role involves coordinating benefits administration, supporting performance management activities, and responding to employee inquiries in a timely and professional manner. The Human Resources Coordinator will help implement HR policies and procedures, support employee relations initiatives, and ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and organizational standards. The position also includes coordinating HR-related trainings, maintaining HR databases, and preparing regular HR reports for management.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with the ability to support core HR operations and processes.
- Experience with Benefits Administration, including enrollment, updates, and communication of employee benefits.
- Skills in Employee Relations, with the ability to handle employee inquiries, support conflict resolution, and promote a positive workplace culture.
- Knowledge of HR Policies and procedures, and the ability to help implement and ensure compliance with organizational and legal requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
- Good written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Khmer is an advantage.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and maintain confidentiality and ethical standards.
- Prior experience in the nonprofit or civil society sector in Cambodia is an asset.
