Human Resources Coordinator – Entry Level Jobs in Valdosta, GA at Wild Adventures

Essential Functions Statements

Maintain confidentiality at all times
Serve as the first point of contact for guests of HR, handling requests and inquiries appropriately
Manage onboarding process for new hires by scheduling HR orientation and ensuring all prerequisites are complete, i.e., background checks and First Aid clearance
Prepare for new hire orientation by creating information packets for HR orientation attendees, prepare wardrobe items for issue to new employees, and set up the room for the event
Create new hire personnel files (paper and electronic) and audit regularly
Maintain personnel file lifecycle
Assist with internal audit requests
Manage wardrobe, including maintaining appropriate inventory levels for all park employee groups, ordering supply when needed through vendors, and preparing returned uniforms for reissue
Assist with on and off-site hiring events
Assist with team member events
Monitor supply levels of common office supplies and notify appropriate people for reorder
Monitor Team Member breakrooms to ensure cleanliness and stocked with supplies.
Occasionally work on-park for other departments during special events; willing to be trained to function as a park team member, as needed by park operations
Other duties as assigned

Assist the HR team with daily office operations, including but not limited to:

Process in employees to include compliance with drug screening procedure and ordering backgrounds/MVR/credit checks
Maintenance of personnel files
Create employee ID’s
Coordinate and track employee recognition programs
Answer phones, sort mail, fax
