We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to join a French-American company specializing in the food industry.

The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, including data management, employee relations, payroll, etc.

Description

Payroll Operations

Administer bi-weekly payroll using the UKG platform
Maintain up-to-date employee records including deductions, benefit plans, time off, and other relevant changes
Oversee timekeeping accuracy and ensure timely approval of timesheets
Track and manage paid time off balances for both salaried and hourly staff
Generate and review payroll reports to ensure accuracy and compliance

Benefits Administration

Oversee the implementation and maintenance of employee benefit offerings within the HRIS
Conduct monthly reconciliation of benefit provider invoices
Coordinate and facilitate the annual open enrollment process

Employee Lifecycle Management

Facilitate the onboarding experience for new hires, including orientation and systems setup
Manage all HR-related administrative processes for onboarding and offboarding, ensuring accurate data entry and compliance within the HRIS
Deliver consistent HR support on employee relations issues such as absenteeism, performance, disciplinary matters, grievances, and internal transitions
Draft and share company-wide updates related to employee changes, benefits programs, and policy revisions
Stay informed about changes in employment legislation at both state and federal levels
Support compliance training efforts, such as mandatory sexual harassment prevention courses

Reporting and Compliance

Compile data and generate reports for senior leadership and the finance team
Complete and submit required documentation for government agencies
Assist with internal and external audits related to ethics, 401(k), and payroll compliance

Skills and Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or organizational development
Understanding of general human resources policies and procedures
Good knowledge of employment laws
Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
Be able to deal with emergencies
Basic Microsoft Word, Office 365, Excel and PowerPoint skills
Knowledge of UKG system a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $26.00 – $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

Monday to Friday
