E-Logic is seeking a visionary and experienced Director of Human Resources to lead and oversee the City of Grand Rapids’ comprehensive HR functions. This executive-level role will direct the development and implementation of strategic human resource initiatives that support the City’s commitment to diversity, operational excellence, and innovation in public service.
Responsibilities:
Provide strategic leadership and oversight of all HR functions, including labor relations, risk management, recruitment, compensation, benefits administration, and organizational development.
Collaborate with the executive leadership team to align HR strategies with the City’s goals and workforce needs.
Lead change management and workforce planning efforts across departments.
Foster a culture of employee engagement, innovation, and high-performance.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws and regulations.
Champion the use of technology to enhance HR operations and employee services.
Supervise, develop, and evaluate HR staff, ensuring effective delivery of services.
Requirements:
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Experience in public sector labor negotiations and HR operations.
