DATAMARK, Inc. is seeking a dedicated and experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our dynamic team. The Human Resources Generalist will be an integral part of our HR team, overseeing a variety of essential HR functions to support our workforce.
In this role, you will be responsible for employee relations, training, performance management, compensation, benefits, internal and external compliance, record retention and safety. You will serve as a valuable resource for both management (liaison with Corporate HR staff) and employees, addressing their HR needs and fostering a positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities
Interprets, applies, and clarifies employment laws, company policies, rules, and procedures for both management and non-management staff, while also monitoring related activities to ensure consistency and appropriateness.
Provides required training to staff employees
Develops site monthly HR metrics presentation
Address employee relations issues, facilitating conflict resolution and maintaining a positive workplace culture.
Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with enrollment and inquiries.
Develop and maintain employee records and HR databases.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a Human Resources role.
At least 1 year in the Human Resource Generalist position
Working knowledge of the major functional areas of HR including recruiting/staffing, policy administration, employee relations, benefits/payroll administration, and state and federal employment laws including but not limited to FMLA, COBRA, ADA, USERRA
Excellent communication (spoken, written, and presentation) skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
Working knowledge of HRIS systems
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
