JOB SUMMARY: This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service in a wide variety of Human Resources functions including compliance, employment recruiting, employee relations, disability/FMLA leaves, on boarding, workers compensation management.

Primary Responsibilities:

Recruits, interviews, and facilitates the hiring of qualified job applicants for open positions;

collaborates with departmental managers, to understand skills and competencies required for

openings.

Conducts or acquires background checks and employee eligibility verifications.
Conduct and coordinates on boarding and new employee orientation programs.
Performs routine tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs including

but not limited to recruitment, benefits, and leaves.

Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring

complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate staff.

Serving as primary contact for work related injuries, includes; good communication with injured

employees, filing claims timely, maintaining OSHA Log, working with adjusters and guiding

employees by facilitating access to medical care. Active participant in Safety Meetings.

Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and

recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Prior ADP experience, a plus.

Education and Experience:

3-5 Years HR Generalist experience, preferably w/in a manufacturing environment
Labor Relations, and PHR or SPHR certification a plus.
Minimum Associate’s Degree in related field preferred, Bachelor’s preferred.Show more
