Hope Rising Pregnancy Center is a Christ-centered, pro-life nonprofit organization serving women and families facing unplanned pregnancies. We provide compassionate care, resources, and practical support rooted in biblical truth. We are seeking a mission-minded HR Coordinator to support our growing team across multiple locations.
Job Summary
The HR Coordinator will oversee daily human resources operations, including recruitment, onboarding, recordkeeping, compliance, and staff development. This role requires excellent organization, strong communication skills, and a heart for ministry leadership.
Responsibilities
Coordinate hiring process: posting jobs, screening, interviewing, and onboarding
Maintain accurate personnel records and organizational chart
Conduct background checks and verify references and credentials
Prepare offer letters and new hire paperwork
Administer payroll documentation, insurance enrollments, and I-9 verification
Organize employee evaluations and track professional development
Provide support to staff for HR-related inquiries
Review and maintain up-to-date HR documents, policies, and procedures
Attend monthly staff meetings and provide monthly HR reports
Qualifications
Required:
High proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Excellent written/verbal communication and problem-solving skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Valid driver’s license and ability to travel between sites
Preferred:
Experience in HR or office administration
Familiarity with HR laws, hiring practices, and benefit administration
Prior work in nonprofit, ministry, or faith-based organizations
Spiritual Commitment:
A committed Christian with a personal relationship with Jesus Christ
Strong alignment with the pro-life mission and values of Hope Rising
Willingness to uphold the organization’s Statement of Faith and Principles
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Frequent use of computer, email, and phone
Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs.
Frequent travel between local centers (mileage reimbursement provided)
Must maintain confidentiality and work independently

During the time I am employed with Hope Rising, I will consistently live my life in a way that upholds Christian moral standards, including, but not limited to, refraining at all times from:
substance or alcohol over-use or abuse;
harassment of any type;
child or spousal abuse or neglect;
theft, fraud, embezzlement, corruption, bribery, misappropriations, or inappropriate removal or possession of property belonging to Hope Rising, a co-worker, or a vendor;
sexual conduct outside the biblical covenant of marriage between a man and a woman;
malicious gossip;
physical aggression: fighting or threatening violence; etc.
