Elder Care Homecare is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our global team! We are a private pay homecare agency servicing New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, and New Jersey, with additional expansion planned in the future. We have been in operation for over eight years, and our continued growth has dramatically increased.
In this hybrid role, you will support and/or lead HR initiatives, reporting to the Director of Human Resources. The ideal candidate will be a well-rounded generalist with 4+ years of experience, to include solid experience in four or more of the following areas:
New Hire Onboarding
Training & Development
Supervision (manage two global training specialists)
Employee Leaves (FMLA, ADA, PTO, Disability, Workers’ Comp)
Employee Relations
Total Rewards (Benefits, 401(k), Compensation)
Various governmental reporting (ACA, OSHA, EEOC)
Performance Management
HRIS Administration and Report Writing
HR Communications
Creation of compliant HR policies, processes, and workflows
Required:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience
4+ years of Human Resources experience
Solid experience in four or more disciplines listed above
Current knowledge of employment laws, legislation, trends, best practices and standards
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Nice to have(s):
HR certifications, such as: PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP
Proficient in Google Workspace (Google Suite)
Home care or health care industry experience
Experience collaborating with global and multidisciplinary teams
Supervisory experience
