Human Resources Manager – Choices Jobs in Dedham, MA at TILL, Inc.
Description: The Human Resources Manager – is a pivotal role within the Human Resources department and the entire agency. This position is responsible for recruiting candidates for all agency positions and directly reports to the Vice President of Human Resources. A primary responsibility is to screen, interview, and track candidates for all services offered by TILL.
Essential Job Functions:
Possess a deep understanding of the unique needs of each department.
Familiarize oneself with all agency job vacancies and available schedules.
Screen and interview candidates over the phone to determine suitable positions.
Conduct timely candidate interviews.
Refer and track candidates to the appropriate department.
Conduct reference checks.
Enter data regarding employee certifications, training, and disciplinary memos.
Assist the Vice President of Human Resources in other projects as appropriate and as time allows.
Provide support to the Vice President of Human Resources for training and policy implementations.
Process information on employees transitioning from permanent positions to relief status.
Attend mandatory training sessions and regularly scheduled supervision meetings.
Assist the Vice President of Human Resources in various activities to enhance employee relations and fringe benefits.
Counsel staff regarding job satisfaction and career opportunities.
Qualifications:
High school diploma is required.
Two years of experience in Human Services or a related field.
Experience working with individuals who have developmental disabilities is highly preferred.
A current driver’s license and access to a car are mandatory.
Effective verbal and written communication skills are essential.
Strong telephone etiquette and organizational skills are required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $21.00 – $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
