You will play a crucial role in the agency’s mission to promote Indigenous values and identity through special events and summer camps. Your responsibilities will include coordinating schedules, managing event details, and ensuring that all programs are delivered with respect and confidentiality. Collaborating with the Elders Advisory Council is key in embedding culture throughout all activities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and execute annual events and community programs
• Manage the distribution of event materials and communications
• Create assessment tools for program evaluation
• Foster connections with families during events
• Uphold confidentiality and cultural respect in all actions
Requirements:
• Experience in coordinating special events for at least one year
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Organized and capable of managing multiple projects
• Valid BC driver’s license required
