Job Summary
We are looking for a proactive and technically skilled IT Support Specialist to provide day-to-day technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software issues, and maintain the organization's IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience with Microsoft technologies, networking, printers, virtual machines, remote desktop tools, and data backup solutions.
Key Responsibilities
– Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment
– Configure and troubleshoot email services, including SMTP, POP, and IMAP
– Install, configure, and support Microsoft 365 applications
– Manage user accounts, licenses, and policies through the Microsoft 365 Admin Center
– Configure and troubleshoot Microsoft Exchange email services
– Install and reinstall Windows operating systems using bootable USB drives
– Configure network printers using Driver Mode, UI Mode, and IP-based installation
– Perform data backup and recovery using OneDrive and Synology NAS
– Configure and troubleshoot routers, Wi-Fi, and basic network connectivity issues
– Set up and manage virtual machines and remote desktop connections to support onsite and remote users
– Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network-related problems
– Maintain IT inventory and ensure timely resolution of support tickets
– Assist users with system setup, software installation, and IT-related queries
– Ensure regular system updates, antivirus protection, and data security best practices
Required Skills
– Strong understanding of SMTP, POP3, and IMAP email protocols
– Experience with Microsoft 365 Apps and Microsoft 365 Admin Center
– Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange administration
– Hands-on experience with Windows installation using bootable media
– Experience configuring printers and network devices
– Knowledge of OneDrive and Synology backup solutions
– Basic networking knowledge, including router configuration and troubleshooting
– Experience with Virtual Machines and Remote Desktop tools to support onsite and remote users
– Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Qualifications
– Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
– 1-3 years of experience in IT Support or Help Desk
– Freshers with relevant internship or home-country experience may also apply
– Microsoft certifications will be an added advantage
