The HR Coordinator will assist the HR Team in performing a variety of recruiting and staffing activities and support the day-to-day administrative processes and functions within a professional Human Resources Department, including but not limited to recruitment, training and development, employee relations, safety, performance management, leave and benefit administration, onboarding, policy implementation and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Assist with recruiting process to meet the various staffing goals and expectations within campuses.
Assist in maintaining online job boards, university relations, screening of candidates, conducting phone interviews, reference checks, organizing in house interviews, and sending rejection letters
Oversee new employee orientation and associated onboarding processes.
Assist with HRIS data-entry including new hires, terminations, status changes, and auditing
Responsible for completion and accuracy of all personnel files and assigned regulatory reporting and documentation in accordance with all state and federal laws and industry regulations.
Understand the importance of employment law and compliance, especially regarding employment eligibility, confidentiality, proper maintenance of employee files, and forms management.
Research and develop ideas to improve areas of the HR infrastructure (For example, new hire experiences, on-boarding processes, recruiting processes).
Assist in providing all around clerical support to the HR Team.
Adhere to established company values, practices, policies and procedures at all times.
Follow and support compliance with all applicable safety rules, laws, regulations and standards.
Demonstrate regular and punctual attendance at the assigned work location.
Education and Experience
Strong organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to recognize and maintain a high level of confidentiality of information.
Must be self-motivated and able to manage time well.
High level of Professionalism.
Working knowledge of computers and standard software.
Strong attention to detail.
Must be able to meet deadlines and handle a high-volume workload in a fast-paced environment
