Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role for an Internal Sales Administrator to support the IT department, based in the City of Cape Town with opportunities for partial remote work. Responsibilities include managing client interactions, preparing sales quotes, processing orders, coordinating with internal teams, and supporting sales efforts. Additionally, the role involves maintaining and updating records, tracking sales performance, and resolving customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Qualifications

  • Sales Administration and Customer Service: Experience in managing client communication, preparing quotations, handling orders, and resolving customer issues effectively.
  • Proficiency in IT Terminology and Processes: Basic understanding of IT systems and services, including Managed IT Services and Business Process Automation tools, is preferred.
  • Organizational and Administrative Skills: Strong ability in documentation, data entry, record-keeping, and coordinating with multiple teams.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused mindset.
  • Technical Competence: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM tools; familiarity with platforms like Microsoft Azure is an advantage.
  • Qualifications: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a certificate or degree in administration, business, or IT is a plus.
  • Experience: Previous experience in sales administration or IT support is beneficial.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work independently in a hybrid work environment, demonstrating proactive problem-solving and a collaborative approach.
