We are assisting our client located in Sunnyvale, CA for an IT Inventory Administrator who meets the below requirements:
Description: This position is to provide support with the daily planning and management of physical assets across all of our client’s engineering data centers. The successful candidate will assist with the planning, tracking, and management of the physical hardware located in several lab locations.
Responsibilities include:
Data entry and continued maintenance of information fed to a database with the information required for tracking assets throughout an asset’s lifecycle (capital, expense, and consignment/loaner).
Labeling of all major assets.
Work directly with technical support and engineering teams for locational deployment and dispensation of assets.
Assist in procurement, planning, forecasting physical inventories.
Reconciliation of any inventory and database discrepancies found during inventory audits.
Kitting electrical parts, also known as component kitting which involves gathering and packaging the specific components needed for a particular project or assembly into a single, convenient kit.
Skills required:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office: Word and Excel
Basic technical skills for identifying various hardware platform types
Organizational skills a must
Project planning and implementation
Detail oriented with data entry input and asset tracking
Effective collaboration across multiple groups and customer communications required
Must be able to lift items up to 40 lbs
