Inventory Controller
Job Description
Coordinating with suppliers for price inquiries, availability, order placement, and estimated time of delivery. Coordinating with couriers and logistics team for shipment arrangement and tracking the deliveries/shipments. Coordinating with sales staff for the requested price and availability. Ensuring timely processing of orders and updating estimated time of arrival to sales staff. Performing system stock checks and reporting any issues to the supervisor/head of the department.
Analyzing demand requirements to ensure stock availability. Monitoring inventory levels and replenishing stock as needed. Performing initial stock ordering of parts for New Model Unit. Processing supplier’s payment memos. Maintaining and updating records of purchase orders, pricing reports, and inventory records. Providing insights and recommendations to management to improve purchasing/inventory processes and procedures.  Requirements Proven experience as Inventory Controller, Purchaser or in similar roles.
Excellent knowledge of
inventory management
and supply chain. Understanding of
inventory management
practices. Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
Good analytical
and logistical thinking abilities. Strong written and verbal
communication skills
. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Â
