Job Summary

  • Monitors and ensure Operational compliance in the records keeping and real time updates.
  • Coordinate & implement total inventory audit to measure level of compliance.
  • Follow up Material Requirement plan for Spares & Production Consumables.
  • Identify and report potential risk, develop preventive action.

Key Duties And Responsibilities

  • Monitor all inventory transactions, ensure accurate record keeping and measure compliance level.
  • Establish and maintain an effective inventory control system that guarantees real time posting of transactions.
  • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances, investigating the root cause and implementing corrective action.
  • Liaise with user departments to reconcile records especially on critical /insurance parts.
  • Monitor and analyze inventory performance including turnover rates, stock level and obsolete or excess inventory.
  • Provide information on current stock and order to provide justification for reordering.
  • Notify the Head of Store of any irregularities in inventory records and provide support in reconciliation or resolving it.

Education And Work Experience

  • BSc/HND Statistics/Computer Science/SCM/Engineering/Accounting.
  • 2-3years in Warehouse & Inventory management in Manufacturing Industry.
  • Knowledge of SAP -MM module for inventory management is an added advantage

Skills And Competencies

  • Proven working experience is Inventory control & Valuation.
  • People oriented and result driven.
  • Knowledge of ERP- SAP MM module & Microsoft Excel.
  • In-depth knowledge of stock handling.
