About This Role
Bukka Hut—a Nigerian quick-service restaurant (QSR) chain operating over 15 locations across Lagos—is recruiting an Inventory Officer for its outlet and storage operations in Ogudu, Lagos.
This operational supply chain role oversees food inventory records, raw material stock reconciliations, FIFO compliance for perishable produce, and daily stock updates across storage facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Stock Counting & Reconciliation: Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly physical stock takes across fresh produce and packaged food supplies, reconciling system records with physical balances.
- FIFO & Shelf-Life Management: Enforce First-In, First-Out (FIFO) procedures to minimize waste, monitor product expiry dates, and ensure proper storage hygiene.
- Material Dispatches & Requisition: Log and document all inventory issued to kitchen production, sales counters, and dispatch teams while recording delivery notes and supplier invoices.
- System Logging & Reporting: Update inventory registers daily using stock management software and Microsoft Excel, submitting weekly stock movement reports to management.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Academic Background: Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- Experience & Shift Availability: 2–3 years of hands-on inventory control experience; willing to work flexible shift rotations.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data tracking/spreadsheets) and digital inventory management systems.
- Geographic Proximity: Mandatory residency in Ogudu or immediate neighboring areas.
