Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Specialist to manage inventory accuracy, stock replenishment, e-commerce inventory control, and wholesale order coordination. The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring optimal stock levels, supporting sales operations, and providing inventory insights to drive business performance.
Key ResponsibilitiesInventory Management
- Create and maintain purchase orders within the inventory management system.
- Upload and manage SKU information upon receipt of purchase orders from suppliers.
- Coordinate stock transfers between warehouse locations.
- Conduct regular inventory reconciliation and collaborate with warehouse teams to ensure inventory accuracy.
E-Commerce Inventory Control
- Monitor stock availability across e-commerce platforms including Shopee, TikTok Shop, and Lazada.
- Manage inventory updates through multi-channel inventory management systems.
- Perform competitor pricing analysis and provide recommendations on pricing adjustments.
- Generate monthly reports on slow-moving inventory and collaborate with the marketing team on promotional strategies.
Wholesale Operations
- Process sales orders based on customer requirements provided by the wholesale team.
- Verify stock availability and provide inventory allocation recommendations.
- Identify excess and slow-moving inventory for wholesale opportunities.
- Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure timely order fulfilment and customer collection.
Inventory Planning & Replenishment
- Monitor sales trends and prepare replenishment recommendations based on inventory performance.
- Review supplier catalogues and identify new product opportunities.
- Conduct basic sales and inventory analysis to support forecasting, stock planning, and purchasing decisions.
- Assist in identifying fast-moving products and maintaining optimal stock levels.
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in inventory control, inventory planning, or a related role.
- Proficient in inventory management systems and inventory control processes.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with the ability to interpret inventory and sales data.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
