Responsibilities
- Receive Airline flight schedules for operating flights and summarize the list of flights operating.
- Ensure all Airline catering orders and other service requests for the flights operating have been correctly updated in ERP / VITE and communicated to internal departments.
- Escalate to the Operations Assistant on shift any deviations or discrepancies with the Airline orders.
- Validate new menus and schedules changes in the DFSM and escalate for corrections as required.
- Ensure production and flight preparation reports are generated and distributed timely to all relevant areas.
- Prepare catering quotations, generate invoices as well as track and monitor payments for cash customers.
- Compile and charge all catering services rendered for credit customers.
- Assist and support the Operations Assistant in daily operations as required.
- Support the training for the new staff and OJT plans.
- Ensure that all systems in use are working and report any issues to Assistant Operations Manager on shift.
- Take stock of office stationery and other office supplies and ensure orders are placed in a timely manner
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (certificate or diploma in Business Administration, Hospitality, Supply Chain or Catering is an advantage.
- 2 years’ experience in an administrative or office support role (experience in catering, hospitality, or food services is a plus)
- Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels.
- Customer service skills in a high-pressure environment.
- Achievement orientated and problem-solving capabilities.
- Ability to develop highly effective working relationships with internal and external networks.
- Ability to effectively and creatively challenge people, situations and current thinking.
- Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, Outlook or similar systems). Basic data entrt and reporting skills.
