Role Overview
We are looking for a strong, experienced, and proactive Admin & IR professional to manage end-to-end site administration, industrial relations, and security operations across multiple renewable energy sites.
The individual will be based out of Naliya, Gujarat, and will travel regularly to 50+ O&M sites and 6+ project sites under construction across India, ensuring consistency in administration, discipline, safety, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Multi-site Administration Oversight:
Drive administrative discipline and standardization across all O&M and project sites.
Ensure site infrastructure, utilities, housing, transport, and vendor services are well-managed.
Visit sites regularly to audit facilities, check service quality, and resolve escalated admin issues.
Industrial Relations & Employee Engagement:
Act as the key point for IR & ER – ensuring smooth relations with labor, workers, and local staff.
Anticipate and address labor unrest or grievances before escalation.
Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws, contractor labor management, and local engagement.
Security & Crisis Management:
Lead site security planning and operations across all locations.
Build and implement SOPs for managing theft prevention, intrusion, and emergency response.
Take swift action in case of disputes, strikes, protests, or community unrest – including law enforcement coordination.
Liaison with Authorities & Local Community:
Proactively coordinate with police officials, government departments, local panchayats, and district-level stakeholders.
Build trust and long-term rapport with villagers, landowners, and local influencers.
Resolve conflicts through on-ground presence, transparent communication, and timely action.
HR & Compliance Support:
Support field HR operations, including onboarding, documentation, statutory registers, and labor inspections.
Monitor contractor workforce practices, wage disbursement, and attendance records.
Coordinate with corporate HR/Legal for internal governance and audits.
Key Competencies
Strong security management and crisis-handling skills.
Ability to manage high-pressure and remote work environments.
Sound understanding of labor laws, compliance, and grievance handling.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills – English, Hindi; Gujarati is a plus.
Highly proactive, energetic, and field-oriented with strong ownership.
Preferred Profile
MBA in HR or Industrial Relations with 10+ years in Admin/IR roles.
Ex-Army or paramilitary service background will be strongly preferred.
Experience in multi-site, large workforce environments, especially in remote regions.
Must be open to extensive travel (up to 60–70% of the time) and available on short notice for site escalations.
