Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Legal Assistant at Ward Law Office LLC. Ideal candidates will have at least 2-4 years of legal support experience, preferably in patents and trademarks. The Legal Assistant will be responsible for the preparation and filing of formal patent and trademark documents with the USPTO, client communication, and supporting patent and trademark attorneys with daily tasks within a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has experience in Microsoft Office Suite including efficiently managing a high volume of emails. Excellent communication and organizational skills are required. Experience using AppColl management software is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

Legal knowledge, preferably in patents and trademarks

Experience in legal document preparation and filing

Strong communication and organizational skills

Experience in Microsoft Office Suite is required

Minimum of 2 years experience as a Legal Assistant

Ability to work independently and remotely
