Due to continued success, Our Corporate & Real Estate Senior Associate is seeking the addition of a Legal Secretary to join their practice.

The Role

We are looking for a Legal Secretary to join our Corporate & Real Estate Senior Associate in Manchester.

The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a similar role.

The day-to-day duties include but are not limited to:

Diary Management (inputting deadlines and remainders)

Monitor emails and respond where necessary and applicable.

Manage external networking events.

Client communications, greeting client, opening files.

Greet clients and open files with client care letters and checking IDs.

Be responsible for bills, invoices and expenses.

Audio typing documents and correspondence

Recording all client and matter details on the case management system,

Setting up new files

Ensuring details are kept up to date.

Making appointments and maintaining the diary

To attend clients both in person and on the telephone in a professional and friendly manner.

Office duties including filing, scanning, photocopying etc.

The position is to be based in our central Manchester officer, on a hybrid working model offering 2/3 days from home per week.

This role is suitable for either Full-time or Part-time candidates, with a minimum of 20 hours per week.

Personal Specification

To be successful in the role, you will be based in Manchester, have prior experience as a legal PA or Legal Secretary.

You will have strong experience using Microsoft office, Adobe, Docu Sign and more. You will be pro-active, efficient, organised, keen to take the initiative and to drive transactions forward.

The ideal candidate will also be able to demonstrate:

Excellent communicator, both written and oral

Commercial awareness

Accuracy and strong attention to detail.

Ability to build strong rapport and to establish and maintain effective working relationships with clients and colleagues at all levels.

Strong IT skills (specifically Outlook, Microsoft Excel/Word and Data Rooms).

Ability to plan work and prioritise tasks.

Ability to take initiate with tasks.
