Muzi & Associates is a law firm in Irvine, CA.

We are looking for a Legal Secretary/File Clerk to join our legal team and help maintain our filing system. The successful candidate will be responsible for organizing, indexing, filing, and retrieving documents in a timely manner. This position requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will have experience with filing systems, Word Perfect, Word, Outlook, Timeslips, Adobe Professional, as well as excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

Maintain filing systems, both electronic and paper.

Organize, index and store documents in an orderly manner.

Retrieve files as requested by staff members.

Ensure that all documents are properly labeled and filed away in the correct location.

Scanning and closing files.

Assist with clerical tasks as needed.

Answering phones.

Input weekly Attorney timesheets on Timeslips.

Legal Secretary back up

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 – $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
