Our client, a leading business law firm in Malta, is seeking an organised and detail-oriented Licensing & Regulatory Administrator to join its Licensing and Regulatory team.
This is an excellent opportunity for a compliance professional to gain further exposure to licensing applications, regulatory obligations, and client matters across regulated industries, particularly Gaming and Gambling. The successful candidate will work closely with experienced professionals and support matters involving both Maltese and international jurisdictions.
What is expected of you?
- Support the Practice Group with the organisation and distribution of licensing and regulatory information to partners and employees
- Provide administrative support relating to licensing obligations across multiple jurisdictions
- Assist with licensing applications, renewals, and jurisdictional approvals
- Prepare application forms, gather supporting documentation, and monitor submission deadlines
- Support ongoing compliance and regulatory requirements within Gaming and Gambling and other regulated industries
- Liaise with local and international regulatory authorities on behalf of clients
- Prepare regulatory correspondence and assist with the submission and follow-up of applications
- Monitor Maltese and international regulatory developments and escalate relevant updates to senior team members
- Assist with preparing and organising compliance documentation for audits and regulatory inspections
- Maintain accurate and well-organised records while ensuring matters are handled efficiently and confidentially
- Contribute to a collaborative and team-oriented working environment aligned with the firm’s values
What are you expected to bring?
- A bachelor’s degree or higher in Law, Compliance, Business, Finance, or another relevant field
- A minimum of two years’ experience in a compliance-focused role, including Customer Due Diligence (CDD)
- A good understanding of Maltese licensing and regulatory requirements
- Experience preparing or reviewing regulatory applications and compliance documentation
- Previous exposure to licensing, regulatory, or compliance-related documentation is considered an asset
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Knowledge of Maltese is considered an advantage
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a professional team
- A high level of discretion when handling confidential client and regulatory information
