Role Description: This is a full-time, on-site Logistics Officer role based in Yangon. The Logistics Officer will coordinate daily transportation, warehousing, and distribution activities to ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective movement of goods. Responsibilities include managing shipment documentation, tracking deliveries, liaising with carriers and suppliers, and resolving operational issues. The role also involves monitoring inventory levels, updating internal systems, and supporting compliance with internal policies and relevant regulations. The Logistics Officer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve processes, support customer requirements, and contribute to continuous operational improvement.
Qualifications
- Strong logistics and supply chain operations knowledge, including transportation planning, warehousing, and inventory control.
- Proficiency in documentation and administration, including shipment records, customs or regulatory paperwork, and data entry accuracy.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills to work with internal teams, suppliers, and customers.
- Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail and a focus on timely issue resolution.
- Comfort with logistics-related software, MS Office applications, and basic data reporting tools.
- Ability to work on-site in Yangon, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to changing operational needs.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Previous experience in logistics transportation is an advantage.
