About the role

CIMB Bank Berhad is seeking a Manager to join our Credit Administration team at iCIMB (MSC) Sdn Bhd, Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position that specializing in Commercial or Consumer loan documentation with job scope covers from Letter of Offer generation, vetting & checking of various security documents, ensure compliance of conditions precedent in accordance to Credit approved terms and internal guideline, disbursement of facility until settlement of account with discharge/release of the relevant collateral.

What you'll be doing

  • To attend daily email enquiries from BU and revert within SLA.
  • To manage daily process of Loan Documentation Unit (MY) (ie : Letter Offer Issuance, Disbursement, Partial Prepayment, Redemption of Secured and Unsecured Loan for Singapore CAD).
  • Monitor and manage the stakeholders’ expectation via delivery of services within the agreed turnaround time with sound quality of production.
  • To liaise with SG CAD team on any inquires and daily task operation.
  • To liaise with lawyer, valuer and Insurer in related to property.
  • To attend monthly reporting as per CAD’s volume.
  • To arrange training to the staff to ensure resources are well train.
  • To attend audit request where it is required.
  • Manages a team of staff.
  • Any other responsibilities/tasks assigned by the Management from time to time.

What we're looking for

  • Diploma or Degree in (Accounting/Finance/Business/Economics/Financial Engineering) or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in credit administration or a related field within the banking and financial services industry.
  • Well verse on security documentation with the knowledge on those law related thereon, industry practices and ability to extend professional feedback/comment upon request.
  • Strong understanding of credit policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrates the ability to carry out monetary tasks such as disbursement, redemption, repayments, and payments, etc.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with various stakeholders.
  • A team player with a proactive and collaborative approach to work.
