Title: Material Planner

Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Independently plan and procure all required materials and products based on Material Requirements Planning (MRP)
- Execute purchase order placement and follow-up
- Review, process, and manage purchase requisitions in a timely and efficient manner
- Monitor supplier delivery schedules and proactively follow up on overdue orders through escalation and expediting activities
- Ensure continuous material availability while balancing inventory levels, demand requirements, and production capacity constraints
- Initiate and coordinate corrective actions in the event of supply shortages, including the utilization of approved alternative suppliers
- Maintain and optimize planning-related master data, including planning parameters, lot sizes, safety stock levels, lead times, and replenishment settings
- Develop, analyze, and report procurement and inventory-related key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Monitor and optimize inventory levels, inventory accuracy, and stock coverage
- Collaborate closely with Production Planning, Operations, Purchasing, Logistics, Quality, and other business functions
- Support New Product Introduction (NPI) projects by ensuring timely material availability for product launches
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives within material planning and supply chain processes
- Coordinate supplier-related issues and support corrective actions in cooperation with Procurement and Quality departments
- Participate in regular supply chain and operations review meetings to ensure material availability and supplier performance
Qualifications and Experience
- Completed commercial, technical, or business-related education; additional qualifications in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Procurement are advantageous
- Several years (minimum of 2 years) of experience in material planning, production planning, supply chain management, or operational purchasing preferred
- Strong SAP skills, preferably in the MM, PP
- Strong knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) processes and methodologies
- Extensive experience with demand-driven and consumption-based material planning concepts
- Solid understanding of supply chain, procurement, and inventory management processes
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, data analysis) and PowerPoint
- Experience with KPI reporting, performance analysis, and business planning tools
