POSITION SUMMARY:
As our Patient Representative, you are the first person a patient talks to on the phone. You play a critical role in ensuring patients have a great experience every time they walk through the front door. This is not your typical medical setting. We are located inside of a very cool private training gym on the West side of Los Angeles.
This position requires great communication and organizational skills, professional customer service and computer literacy. Ideal candidate loves multi-tasking and is detail-oriented, self-motivated with strong work ethics, has a positive attitude and a vibrant smile.
Working in a physical therapy office is highly rewarding and just down right fun. We work hard and we play hard as we help patients recover from physical injuries. Come join the A-Team!
Required Skills and Experience include:
Ability to multitask and prioritize work;
Excellent organization and time management skills;
Experience working in a clinical office setting a must;
Experience checking patient eligibility, obtaining authorizations, insurance;
Experience receiving a high volume of patients;
Experience scheduling patients with multiple providers and locations
Excellent team player, customer service and communication skills;
Experience checking in/out, registering patients, collecting co-pays;
Computer skills, phone skills, experience working with EHR’s a must
Bilingual in Spanish preferred, not required.
Must be a team player
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum 2+ year of experience as medical office admin is required
Experience using an EHR system is extremely helpful
Experience in out patient Physical Therapy setting is extremely helpful
Knowledge of Medical Terminology is highly recommended
