Medical Receptionist Jobs in Reno, NV at High Risk Pregnancy Center
The High Risk Pregnancy Center is a nationally recognized, maternal-fetal medicine private practice, one the largest in the U.S., leading the way in procedures, patient care and technology. We are currently seeking a Medical Receptionists to join our team in our Reno office. Candidates must be cordial, display a pleasant demeanor with patients, and have the ability to multi-task and work well under pressure. Also, must be able to communicate effectively, have strong customer service skills and be a team player. Electronic Medical Record(EMR) experience is required, preferably Athena. The position has a competitive salary based on experience, a generous 401k plan with matching contribution and excellent health insurance benefits. Nevada has a low cost of living and the state has no income tax.

Duties:
Cordial greeting of patients and processing check-in/check-out.
Entering/updating patient demographics and information in electronic medical record.
Answering phones and scheduling appointments.
Collecting co-pays.
Performing other various front office duties

Requirements
Must have excellent communication skills and able to provide first-rate customer service.
1-2 years’ experience (healthcare preferred)
EMR experience preferably in Athena
Knowledge of medical terminology
Must be self-motivated and have the ability to problem solve and multi-task.
Bilingual preferred (Spanish)
