Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Medical Receptionist to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing various administrative tasks in a fast-paced medical environment. Ensuring that patient interactions are handled with professionalism and confidentiality.
Hours : Tues- Wed – 10 am – 4pm , Fri-Sat – 10 am – 4pm
Responsibilities
Greet patients upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures.
Schedule appointments and manage the calendar for healthcare providers.
Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Process patient information and insurance details using computerized systems.
Handle phone calls, emails, and other communications efficiently.
Assist in coding for billing purposes and prepare care plans as needed.
Perform office management tasks including inventory management and supply ordering.
Ensure the reception area is clean, organized, and welcoming for patients.
Skills
Proficient in medical terminology to facilitate effective communication.
Strong office management skills to maintain an efficient workflow.
Experience with computerized systems for patient management and billing.
Ability to type accurately using 10 key typing skills.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Familiar with TCM/ acupuncture is a plus
Strong interpersonal skills to provide compassionate care and support to patients.

Pay: $17.50 – $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 – 30 per week
