Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, deploy, and manage enterprise applications using JBoss Application Server, IBM WebSphere Application Server, and Apache Tomcat.
- Support middleware administration activities across JBoss EAP and Apache Tomcat platforms.
- Perform SSL configuration, certificate management, and secure connectivity setup where applicable.
- Troubleshoot application server, messaging, and deployment issues in Unix/Linux environments.
- Work with MQ-based integrations and support messaging-related connectivity and stability.
- Tune JVM settings, analyze performance issues, and support WAR/EAR deployments.
- Automate operational tasks using shell scripting and Unix scripting.
- Collaborate with infrastructure teams on load balancers, reverse proxies, networking, and firewall rules.
Mandatory Skills
- Strong experience with Unix, RHEL, and Unix/Linux administration.
- Hands-on experience with JBoss, WebLogic, and MQ.
- Strong shell scripting and Unix scripting skills.
- Experience with installation, configuration, deployment, and management of enterprise applications on JBoss, WebSphere Application Server, and Apache Tomcat.
- Experience with middleware administration, especially JBoss EAP and Apache Tomcat.
- Strong understanding of Java EE architecture, JVM tuning, and WAR/EAR deployments.
- Experience working on Linux/Unix systems with basic networking knowledge.
Good To Have
- Familiarity with load balancing, reverse proxies such as Apache HTTPD and NGINX, and firewall rules. dice+1
- Knowledge of Oracle databases.
- Exposure to digital banking environments.
