Aura Nail House is looking for a friendly, responsible, organized, and hardworking receptionist / assistant to join our team.
This position is responsible for providing excellent customer service, managing appointments and technician turns, and helping maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming salon at all times.
Please note: This is not a desk-only receptionist position. Daily cleaning and maintaining the salon are important parts of this job.
Key Responsibilities Front Desk & Customer Service – Greet every customer in a friendly and professional manner.
– Answer phone calls and assist customers with questions.
– Schedule, confirm, reschedule, and manage appointments accurately.
– Check customers in and out efficiently.
– Help customers understand salon services and direct them to the appropriate service when needed.
– Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive, welcoming atmosphere.
– Handle customer concerns calmly and professionally.
– Communicate customer concerns or important issues to management when necessary. Appointment & Technician Turn Management
– Manage the daily appointment schedule and help keep the salon running on time.
– Coordinate appointments and walk-in customers with available technicians.
– Manage and distribute technician turns fairly and accurately according to salon policy.
– Keep track of technician availability and service schedules.
– Communicate appointment changes, cancellations, delays, and special requests clearly with technicians.
– Help minimize customer wait times and scheduling conflicts.
– Stay organized during busy periods and prioritize tasks appropriately.
Salon Cleaning & Organization Keeping the salon clean is a required and important responsibility of this position. The Receptionist is expected to actively help maintain salon cleanliness throughout the entire shift, including:
– Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors as needed. – Clean and sanitize pedicure chairs and pedicure areas.
– Clean and maintain the restroom throughout the day.
– Wipe and sanitize the front desk, waiting area, counters, tables, and frequently touched surfaces.
– Take out trash and replace trash bags.
– Keep the reception and customer waiting areas clean and organized.
– Help with laundry and salon towels.
– Prepare hot towels and other salon supplies when needed.
– Help prepare or serve customer beverages when needed.
– Restock supplies and notify management when supplies are running low.
– Check the salon regularly throughout the day for anything that needs cleaning or attention.
– Take initiative to clean or organize an area without waiting for a manager to ask.

Physical Requirements
This position requires regular standing, walking, bending, sweeping, mopping, cleaning, and light lifting associated with normal salon operations. Important This position is ideal for someone who understands that being a receptionist in a busy nail salon involves more than answering phones and scheduling appointments. The Receptionist plays an important role in the overall customer experience and is expected to help keep the salon clean, organized, professional, and running smoothly throughout the day. We are looking for someone who sees what needs to be done and takes action rather than waiting to be told.
Pay: $16.00 – $18.00 per hour
