Office Admin/Accounting Assistant Jobs in Sioux Falls, SD at Soukup Construction, Inc.

We are a regional excavation construction company that performs site preparation, utility work, and demolition. We are seeking an Office Admin/Accounting Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience with administrative functions in a construction office environment, be personable, organized and detail-oriented. This position is Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (no weekends) and benefits to include health, dental, vision, and life insurance, short term disability insurance, accident insurance, paid holidays, PTO, and 401k.

Job Duties

Front desk and reception duties for a low-traffic, low call volume office.
General administrative duties including communication with employees, customers, and vendors, filing, organize/mail/collect construction contracts, job folder preparation, etc.
Assist with timecard data entry.
Assist with accounts payable function including matching of vendor invoices, reconciliation of monthly vendor statements, and data entry.
Assist with accounts receivable function including maintenance of customer billing records and preparation of invoices.

. Assist with Human Resource duties as assigned.

Other office duties as needed.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications

Highly motivated with strong time management and organizational skills. Ability to multi-task.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
High comfort level with technology, including MS Office products.
Experience in an accounting/office function. Construction industry a plus.
