Position Summary: The Office Manager is responsible for day to day office operations, membership processing & event planning, and tracking of Legislative activity.
The Office Manager is also responsible for coordinating Board of Directors meetings, and volunteer activities, in addition to maintaining the website with necessary updates to content and functions.

At least two years of previous experience in office management.
Some experience with Hawaii State Legislature processes and systems.
Microsoft Office, QuickBooks, and WordPress with CiviCRM
Actual Job Responsibilities:Employment: Full time.
Manages the office to ensure effective telephone and mail communications both internally and externally to maintain professional image.
Supervises and coordinates overall administrative activities.
Tracks and manages Foundation finances.
Supervises the maintenance and alteration of office areas and equipment, as well as layout, arrangement, and housekeeping of office facilities.
Negotiates the purchase of office supplies and furniture, office equipment, etc., for the entire staff in accordance with company purchasing policies and budgetary restrictions.
Supervises the maintenance of office equipment, including copier, fax machine, network, etc.
Responsible for the facilities day-to-day operations (such as distributing building access keys and back up-up to security access cards, etc.)
Participates as needed in special projects.
Duration: Employment is at will. The first three months will be considered probationary.
Conflict of Interest: Conflict of interest declarations similar to those required of board members will be required.
Compensation: Negotiable.
Frequency: Checks are issued semimonthly.
Benefits: Medical (Kaiser), Dental (HDS). Negotiable.

Pay: $35,000.00 – $45,000.00 per year
