HRus Partners, license number 414, on behalf of our client, a well-established Securities Dealer company with international presence, we are currently looking for an Office Manager. Our client is looking to establish a new company and office in Vanuatu.
Responsibilities
- Acting as key person of an international company registered and licensed in Vanuatu.
- Forge and maintain relations of trust with shareholders/partners and external authorities.
- Ensuring that the business activities, comply with all relevant regulations and guidelines issued by the regulatory authorities in Vanuatu.
- Preparing and ensure full and timely regulatory reporting as required by Vanuatu Financial Services Commission (VFSC)
- Responsible for overall day-to-day operations of settlement/ corporate actions/ remittance to ensure all the instructions are executed accurately and in a timely manner.
- Advising functions and business units on the regulatory compliance and risk management related to the transaction settlement cycle.
- Reviewing/Identifying and improving internal processes, ensuring that appropriate systems and internal controls are implemented & maintained.
- Communicating with company’s group persons overseas to support other managers.
- Managing and training local staff
- Monitoring and assessing the level of compliance risk the Company faces.
Key Skills Required
- Must be residing in Vanuatu.
- Proficient in written and spoken English.
- University degree in either Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Law, or other relevant fields
- A good understanding of financial markets, online trading and Forex is required.
- The candidate will need to deal with the Vanuatu Financial Services Commission (VFSC) and the Vanuatu Financial Intelligence Unit (VFIU); therefore, knowledge of the rules and regulations that apply to Securities Dealers in Vanuatu will be considered as an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving, organizational, and decision-making skills.
