The Officer / Senior Officer, Events & Administration of SwissCham Hong Kong is a key position, responsible for the operations, events and administration of the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong and its interaction with members, corporate partners and the broader community. This position will report to the General Manager and is based in Hong Kong.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Membership Management

Manage the membership database and membership renewal

Facilitate onboarding 

2. Event Management and Communication

Execute a diverse range of events including seminars, workshops, business forums, and networking activities that provide value to members and the wider business community.

Support the promotion and marketing efforts to increase event participation and ensure effective communication with relevant stakeholders so as to raise the profile of SwissCham, enhance its reputation, and reach a wider audience.

Manage Swiss Chamber’s Social Media (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn)

3. Expense Management and Administration

Organise internal meetings, prepare and present the materials for the monthly Board of Director meetings.

Expense management. liaise with accounts and auditors

Ensure the smooth running of the SwissCham HK office

 

Role Requirements:

Ideally some working experience, preferably in a similar role or with event or project management experience.

Fluent written and spoken English. Cantonese/Mandarin or any Swiss national languages are an advantage but not mandatory.

Good organizational skills, efficient, detailed.

Reliable and a strong sense of responsibility.

Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Canva.

Ability to work in the evening for events and meetings.

Immediate availability is preferred.

Fresh graduates will be considered
