Role Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated Operations Application Analyst to join our team, working closely with the Operations Applications Lead to deliver high-quality operational and IT support to all staff. This role is pivotal in ensuring that beneficial changes are implemented with minimal disruption to services, while safeguarding operational integrity. By driving seamless support and effective change management, the person will help strengthen our systems and empower staff to perform at their best.
Key Responsibilities:
- Basic configuration and application administrative functions (SAX, Jira, E-Claims, Zendesk)
- Provide first and second level operational support for staff
- Application administration
- Assisting in system analysis, design, development, and testing activities
- Providing support in developing, implementing, and testing releases and system upgrades
- Reviewing and analyzing outputs of reporting to interpret findings
- Using critical thinking and attention to detail to pinpoint discrepancies and investigative skills to resolve
Requirements:
- Diploma/ Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or related field
- Proven experience as an Application Analyst, with a focus on SQL, system administration and 2nd level support
- Ability to work both independently and within a team
- Must be result driven, proactive, self-motivated and a team player
- Good planning and organization skills in order to meet timescales
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to lead in an environment of change
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Sound knowledge in System Administration
- Strong knowledge in SQL and 2nd Level Support
