Dubai, United Arab Emirates | Posted on 10/18/2024 As a Paralegal, you will work closely with the legal director and contribute to high-profile matters related to BITs and investor-state dispute settlements. This is an on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive research on Bilateral Investment Treaties, international investment law, and relevant legal frameworks. Summarize and present findings to support legal teams in decision-making and strategy development. Manage and maintain legal documents, case files, and correspondence related to BITs and investment disputes. Ensure proper cataloging, archiving, and accessibility of records. Schedule meetings, hearings, and conferences for the legal team. Draft, proofread, and prepare legal documents, reports, and communications.

Serve as the point of contact for clients, providing timely updates on case progress. Facilitate smooth

communication

within the legal department and with external stakeholders. Monitor case deadlines and ensure timely submissions and filings in line with relevant regulations.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree. 1-2 years of experience in a legal support role, preferably within a law firm or legal department focused on BITs or international investment law. Strong understanding of BITs, international investment law, and dispute resolution is essential. Exceptional research, analytical, and

document management

skills. Excellent

communication

abilities, both written and verbal. Proficiency with legal research tools and office software.
