Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Parts Administrator to join our team. This key role will support daily operations within the parts department by overseeing inventory, ordering parts, and providing exceptional service to our customers and technicians. Key Responsibilities:

Serve as the main point of contact for all parts ordering—place and track orders from vendors and suppliers

Assist in maintaining and managing appropriate stock levels

Support and help manage physical inventory counts and cycle counts, ensuring accuracy of inventory records

Help to assist and provide guidance with receiving and shipping needs

Work closely with the service department to fulfill internal parts requests in a timely manner

Assist walk-in, phone, and web-based customers in identifying, locating, and purchasing the correct parts

Maintain detailed records of purchase orders, discrepancies, and vendor communications

Monitor back-orders and expedite urgent parts to minimize customer and service delays

Collaborate with the sales department to procure and invoice whole good attachments and accessories.

Help keep the parts department organized, clean, and efficient

Provide administrative support such as invoicing, warranty claims, and return processing

Contribute to a team-oriented culture and represent Hoober Inc. with professionalism and a strong work ethic

Qualifications:

Previous experience in a parts or inventory-related role (preferred)

Strong computer and data entry skills; experience with inventory software is a plus

Excellent communication and customer service skills

High attention to detail and strong organizational skills

Familiarity with agricultural equipment is a strong advantage

Must be a team player with a positive attitude

High School diploma or equivalent

Driver’s License

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 – $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
