Family of Woodstock Inc in Kingston, NY seeks fulltime Payroll Administrative Manager to be responsible for all payroll processing functions and administration for local Human Services non-profit. Must have excellent attention to details; ability to communicate well with supervisors; must be comfortable with math and computers and have good judgement. Team member would be responsible for entering weekly employees’ hours worked as well as any deductions, and maintenance of personnel files. Must be computer literate with proficiency with MS Office and Gmail. Wage is $18.67/hr with excellent benefit package and paid time off.

Responsibilities

Check and enter weekly timesheets

Prepare weekly direct deposit

Enter and pay income executions, State Taxes, Federal Taxes, and Retirement deductions.

Give quarterly time accruals

Prepare quarterly state and federal taxes

prepare Disability, Workers Comp, and Paid Family Leave payments and spreadsheets

Work with the Director of Human Resources to meet department goals and objectives, both independently and as a team, and ensure and maintain the confidentiality of all agency and department information.

Qualifications

· An Associate’s Degree in Business or Accounting and two years’ relevant work experience; or four years On the Job Training in a Payroll/Finance department

· Must be comfortable with Excel

· Have high confidentiality standards
