Job Summary

  • Lead and manage monthly payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely salary payments.
  • Oversee payroll-related activities including attendance, overtime, allowances, deductions, bonuses, and final payments.
  • Manage HRMS administration, ensuring employee records and payroll data are accurate and up to date.
  • Review and process employee claims in accordance with company policies.
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and other government regulations.
  • Handle payroll audits, reconciliations, and reporting.
  • Drive payroll process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert (SME) for payroll-related matters and provide support to employees and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with HR, Finance, and external vendors to resolve payroll issues and maintain service excellence.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of end-to-end payroll operations experience. At least 2 years of experience in a payroll lead role, including process improvement initiatives, stakeholder management, or mentoring team members.
  • Strong hands-on experience in HRMS administration, payroll processing, and claims management.
  • Solid understanding of Malaysian statutory requirements, including EPF, SOCSO, EIS, and PCB.
  • Prior experience in a Shared Services Centre (SSC) environment is highly preferred.
  • Proven track record of delivering payroll accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence.
  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently and drive results.
  • Detail-oriented, analytical, and highly organized with strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience leading payroll projects or serving as a Payroll Subject Matter Expert (SME) will be an added advantage.
