Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Payroll Specialist role based in Cyberjaya. The Payroll Specialist is responsible for end-to-end payroll processing, including collecting and verifying payroll data, preparing payroll runs, and ensuring accurate and timely payments to employees. Daily tasks include managing payroll taxes and statutory deductions, administering garnishments, handling payroll services inquiries, and maintaining up-to-date payroll records in compliance with local regulations. The role also involves coordinating with HR and Finance on salary changes, benefits, and allowances, resolving payroll-related questions from employees, and supporting audits and reporting requirements.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess strong skills in end to end Payroll Processing.
- Candidates should possess solid knowledge of Payroll Taxes and related statutory contributions.
- Candidates should possess experience preparing monthly reports.
- Candidates should possess proficiency with payroll software, HRIS systems, and MS Excel.
- Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and time management skills.
- Candidates should possess good communication skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality and data privacy.
- Candidates should possess relevant experience in payroll or finance; prior experience in education or services industries is an advantage.
- Candidates should possess a diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
