Summary
The People Team Coordinator works between all functions of the people team which include: Payroll, Talent Acquisition, Human Resources, and Training & Development. You will interact with all facets of the People team and helping them work through employee concerns and assisting TA in scheduling, working through payroll concerns, and more.
Your key to success in this role will be your desire to help others and to provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers as well as your ability to pick up lots of different concepts quickly.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Human Resources
Processing benefit enrollments via HRIS, troubleshooting any incorrect enrollments.
Manage the onboarding process from offer acceptance through start date including ensuring food, marijuana and state and federal compliance.
Create digital new hire files and maintain existing employee files.
Employee life-cycle processing (terminations, transfers, promotions)
Payroll
Advise leaders on proper timecard coding.
Data entry of expense reimbursements, bonus and commission payouts, pay changes and other recordable payments.
Talent Acquisition
Weekly monitoring of all TA team metrics such as time to fill, time for first contact, etc.
Ensuring job postings comply for state specific laws
Set up, schedule, and on occasion, do initial screenings for TA team.
Assist in maintaining job postings or creating new job postings.
Auditing job descriptions and adjusting team Sharepoint with most recent jobs.
Training & Development
Generate reports on trainings attended, follow up with employees to ensure we are compliant with training needs.
Collect and summarize course feedback and present data back to the T&D team.
General Admin
Assist in managing the ticketing system via inbox and Slack
Intake level 1 questions and utilize company policy, processes and resources to resolve requests and delegate higher level inquiries where needed.
Assist in providing records/documents to current and/or former employees (i.e. VOE, Cobra Documents, UI Claims, etc.)
Create reports and assist in audits as necessary
Able to sort through complicated, extensive, and often conflicting information to effectively worth through and solve problems
Able to create a workplace culture where people feel motivated and are excited to bring their best selves to work and commit to the organization’s objectives

Qualifications

Previous experience in HR, Talent Acquisitions, Payroll, and/or T&D
Experience in data collection, entry and reporting with great attention to detail and confidentiality
Solid knowledge of relevant legislation, policies and regulations is a plus
Ability to juggle multiple priorities and deadlines.
Computer savvy with working knowledge of relevant software (e.g. UKG) is a plus
Outstanding organizational and time management skills
Excellent communication abilities with aptitude in problem-solving
State regulations require all applicants must be 21 years of age or older
Will be required to submit to a background check
Benefits
As a non-exempt employee, you’ll receive a competitive hourly wage of $28-32/hr paid biweekly, overtime, 11 paid holidays, 401K, 120 hours of PTO and fully paid health, dental and vision insurance
